Frankie McClay has been involved in music for over thirty years and recording for around twenty-five years. He lives and breathes music and recording
with a passion. No one is happier in their job than this man. Frankie records bands, firstly because he loves his job and secondly, it has allowed
him the freedom and flexibility of bringing up his three children while his wife Julie maintained her career as a journalist. Although he's
available at any time, he still mainly records week nights and at the weekends. This seems to suit most musicians anyway. Frankie is dedicated to
doing the best job he possibly can for his clients, while making sure it's enjoyable and laidback for everyone. One client said, "Recording at Einstein Studios is more like a day out... I loved it"
About the studio
Einstein Studios is a recording studio on the outskirts of Antrim. It has the largest and latest
Pro Tools Hd PCIe system you can have on the new Mac Pro. There is a 68-input Allen & Heath Saber Plus desk, 10 Valve mic preamps, including one Manley El-op,
3 Drawmer 1960 valve compressors, 1 TL audio Valve EQ 1 and Little Labs preamps for guitars and bass.
There are Tama acoustic drums, Roland TD12 V drums, amps and guitars available for anyone that needs them. The studio has a great track record for quality production, boasting a fantastic sounding room for drums and a live room for the other instruments with a purpose built bunker for cranked up amps. The studio is highly versatile and can accommodate any style of music, from metal to country. With more than 20 years experience recording Frankie would be delighted to work on your next project, or even on something you’ve recorded yourself and would like to have mixed and mastered by a professional, on a system that can fix just about anything.
